Nakamura-Tome Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of machine tools and optical equipment that aims to create better manufacturing sites together with its customers under the slogan "Approaching the manufacturing industry tomorrow.

I work for a company that makes many different types of crankshafts they only showed a fraction of the machining involved on this very impressive machine

At 3:10 the view is changed, from side view to axial view. At the sams time, the crankshaft is change too. This video is made by combining the machining of two different crackshafts.
Crazy. Our Nakamura spindle just sheared itself. Not a fun time.

Missing 50% of other operations.
Thought the same thing. Rod journals and the other main journals not turned. Missing counter weight topping. Missing the undercuts in the journals. Missing the undercut rolling and straightening. Missing grinding and polishing. Missing balancing. No cross drilling of mains and pins for oil feed. Need to retitle the video to roughing a crankshaft for finish final machining.

True, but actually this video is not about the crankshaft, but the machining equipment. It's made to showcase how their machine does what it does on the video, and not so much how a crank is made.
as an old-time manual machine operator, you can't imagine the amount of time to do what this dedicated machine just did

Chiploading conditions should BE optimized somewhat AS someTools are whizzling to loud.

What differentiates this from the wt100? They seem very similar with the exception of the slant angle and some turret indexing differences.
Thank you for your comment. The main differences between the NT-Flex and WT-100 are in workpiece size and performance. The NT-Flex is optimized for machining smaller workpieces (φ20mm to 38mm) with a higher milling speed of 10,000 RPM. It also features the full ChronoCut technology, reducing idle time and enhancing efficiency. Additionally, the NT-Flex has a compact design with a depth of just 1.38m, making it highly efficient for small spaces. The WT-100, by comparison, has a bar capacity of φ42mm, catering to different machining needs.
Definitely some of the most user friendly machines I have ever seen. The control panel is briliant.

As far as tip angle that is why they went shallow. They spot because of drill length.
